Mark Zuckerberg Memo

Mark Zuckerberg, the world youngest billionaire at the age of 28 who drops Harvard during his sophomore year and co-founded the social-networking website Facebook out of his college dorm room. At the age of 12, he created a messaging program that he named “Zucknet” by using Atari BASIC to communicate with his family within the house. During his studies in Phillips Exeter Academy, he created an early version of the music software Pandora, which he called Synapse. He invented Facemash during his enrollment in Harvard and which leads him to created a site that allowed users to create their own profiles, upload photos, and communicate with other users; Facebook. He deep passion and interest in computers has brought him to where he is right now.

Personally, I would rank Mark Zuckerberg third after Christopher Columbus and Steve Wozniak on the current Pantheon that I built. Based on the people that already been discussed, he is most likely Steve Wozniak but in many different ways. The only thing that they have in common is both of them invented something innovative and the products their invented became a cult; Wozniak with his Apple and Zuckerberg with his Facebook. Even though, Facebook has become a very useful social-network website to connect people all around the world but the way Facebook has changed through out time had cause a lot of privacy invasion which portrays that Mark Zuckerberg is not charming guy in a way of how he invaded personal privacy. This is because he upgraded Facebook to the point where he ‘sells’ the users information to third parties. However, one word that truly describes him is brilliant. Brilliant in designing a social-network website connecting or reconnecting people from different places, making the world a much more smaller place.
