Being at the Right Place at the Right Time

The Importance of being at the right place at the right time is not only essential to the United States Army but, serves purpose and benefit to one’s life and career. In the following essay I will explain the importance of punctuality, how every decision we make has consequences. Following by how time management leads to great life and stress free life. Last but now least accountability is Key to the functionality of the United States Army.

The United States Army depends on its soldiers to perform their assigned duties. Let’s be realistic here without the Army’s soldiers to perform and run the day to day duties, the Army would be disfunctional, and unorganized. Honestly I am not so sure that there would even be an Army or that one would even exist. Being on time and at the right place allows soldiers to be seen or notices among their senior officers, make them talk. Be notice for outstanding performance. Which leads to that early promotion, which leads to the extra money in your pocket at the end of each month and, I don’t know about you but I like extra money in my pocket. Punctuality is important, we need soldier to be there when needed without question to perform their duties. Soldiers who are late are “shit bags.” When one is late or absent from their place of duty people have to compensate for that missing person. This means if you are not there to do your job. Other people have to pick up that slack so that, the team as a whole does not fall behind. I personally do not like to do work I do not have to do. Not being on time also leads to a hostile work environment, in my experience when people when you have to pick up the slack for someone else who did not show up on time or even did not show up at is aggravating and irritating. It also adds unnecessary stress to work environment, when you add the work of another person and multiply it by two but give them the same amount of time to accomplish it, the feeling...
