“Reasons for wishing to study at Sophia University”

What is education? Education is any act or experience that has a formative effect

on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. Education is also the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another. For me, education is what brought the world where we are today and also brought me where I am today. I believe education is a gate that will and can lead us to a better future.

There are many reasons why I wish to study at Sophia University. One reason is that Sophia University offers a wide range of classes that I’m very much interested in; for example, international business and economics. I want to major in Business in which Sophia University offers many business classes and opportunities for the students to learn. Another reason is that going to good university, we’ll have better job opportunities, increased knowledge, and essential skills preparation for future life. Last but not least, Sophia University offer classes taught in English and also where I get to study with people who come from all over the world.

“Men and Women for Others, with Others.” The mission statement of Sophia University has made a big impression to me. I believe the world is changing everyday , every minute, every second both in the good and bad ways global wisely. And in order to have a better society, men and women needs to work and help for and with others. I really like where Sophia University is aiming towards and their goals.

If I can do anything for Sophia University, contributing to its diversity is what I am best suited for. The experiences I’ve had with people from different cultures, the languages I speak are just some of the things that can help me bring diversity to a group.
