Answer each question in 50 to 100 words related to those stereotypes. Provide citations for all the sources you use.
What are the positive aspects of stereotypes, if any?
Positive aspects of stereotypes is that the stereotype itself is true. For instance, the stereotype that all Asians are good in math, is in fact true. This could help someone make the decision to have an Asian help them with their math homework if they needed a tutor. Or that all Jewish people are good with money. This stereoptype would help someone trust them with their money or finaces. Positive stereotypes can help someone land a job they wanted, regardless if the stereotype was true or not.
What are the negative aspects of stereotypes?
* A negative aspect is one that could back fire from the positive aspect. Asians could get tired of answering...
