Even though people should buy instead of rent we should leave our options open to have a better life in the future especially when there is children involved.

There are many options you have when you buy a home compared to renting a home. When you have the ability to make changes to the home without the consent of a landlord it makes things much easier to do and you can get them done a lot quicker. When you are able to make those changes whether it is adding a room or just painting the rooms in the house gives you more living space and you don’t feel like you are confined to one small space. Maintaining the property yourself makes you feel so much better that it is done compared to waiting on the landlord to get it done

When purchasing a home you build equity with the purchase and making changes makes the margins of it even higher. If your house increases in value then you are building more equity with each payment you make so the more you make the payments the better your investment becomes. Here recently the government has given out tax breaks for first time home buyers which in terms gives you another advantage from buying a home.

Knowing that you own a home makes you proud and feel better about yourself. When you own your house it gives you the freedom to do what you want and when you want without having to deal with troubles of other people. You also have enough space to invite your friends and family over for holiday functions. If you plan to expand your family you have plenty of space for everyone in your house hold to live comfortably. When you rent a home and you expand your family you have to uproot out of the house you have to find a bigger one to fit your needs.

Why is renting a home worse than buying a home? When you rent a home you don’t get the tax advantages that you would get if you were to buy a home. You don’t gain any equity from it; your money just goes down the drain compared to buying where it is going towards something you get to call...
