You should always want to face your fears

Think back to when you were a child. Remember walking around during Halloween with your friends and family? You would walk up and down roads in neighborhoods dressed up as you favorite super hero, pretty princess or even an evil villain. You noticed some of your neighbors would really go all out. They would decorate their houses and yards for everyone to walk through the scary part just to get your candy. As you go through you see all these coffins, skeletons, witches, and pumpkins. Your heart starts to race; you don't know what is going to happen. Just as you approach the corner, you start to sweat. You can feel the vein in your neck starting to throb. Just then you hear the sound of a chain saw, you want to turn around and run away. But you can't. You’re trapped! As you walk closer, you see this big man standing in a white trench coat with blood all over him and a mask on his face. He is holding a chain saw in his hands. He is trying to chase you. You are starting to scream and yell. That feeling you are experiencing is called fear. As you finally get pass him, you get out as fast as you can. As you sit on the side of the road trying to catch your breath, you realize your nerves have started to calm down. You say, "that was not so bad, let’s go back threw!" If you would have stopped and turned around and left when you wanted to, you would not have faced what you have feared. In result actually facing your fear was not so bad after all. It is important to face your fears because fear can build your character, fear could prevent you from taking risk, and it can prevent you from expanding your life.

One reason, it is important to face your fear is because, it could build your character. It could very well make you who you are today. Everyone is afraid of something. Most of us are afraid of multiple things, for example, you could be afraid of heights, spiders, snakes,...
