Although Chinese educational sector has already reduced the weight of English in examination system, my passion for English ,for teaching ,for working in university do not fade. Influenced by excellent teachers, I still want to be a university English teacher.

Why English ?Awarded the title of most international language, in my mind, English has its own unique charm. I fall head over heels in love with English, for the atom of romance it brings to me, for its beautiful rhythm ,and for its masterly choice of wording. As time goes by ,I began to notice its functional use as a key to open the door of colorful outside world. With the key holding in hand, I could gain more chances to chat with foreigners from around the globe, make friends , get a glimpse of their daily life and even be a part of it. Gradually, the pattern I see the world ,the prospective I analyze the problems and the way I identify myself are slightly reshaped and changed . For its literal beauty and the rich life it offers me ,I love English.

Why teacher? According to Holland Career Interest Test, I am a social helper who are patient ,easy-going and willing to communicate with different groups of different .Meanwhile ,the experience of being a volunteer in Chongqing strengthened my faith to become a compassionate faculty .A lot of trivial matters which include preparing the lectures, visiting local family and helping them with some household chores kept me busy all the time. Nevertheless, my enthusiasm about teaching equipped me the power to adapt to the hardship in rural area, to tolerate bad-writing paper, to control my temper from time to time, and gain happiness in turn .These wonderful moments of doing what I like and what I am good at derives directly from teaching process, thus, I want to be a teacher.
