The Different Forms of Communication
How do people communicate? People communicate in many different ways. People most commonly communicate verbally. Communicating verbally doesn’t always get the result that one would expect from communicating verbally. Let me give you some examples of verbal communication.
Verbal Communication
Verbal communication comes in two forms; one is in the form of speech and the other is in the form of writing. Verbal communication happens whenever two people are talking to each other. Some examples of verbal communication would be to make an appointment over the phone, to ask a question of your employer, or to have a conversation at a restaurant with a friend.
Verbal communication can also take place within a group; group members speak their ideas out loud so that other members can listen and communicate verbally back with them and come up with solutions to the groups problems. Communication is an essential part of our day-to-day lives. With technological developments in the area of communication; this has given us great resources and also tools that trigger the improvement of our day-to-day lives aided by handy communication.
With all of the many forms of communication, face-to-face communication is still the best form of communication. It helps to hold the sentiments, feelings and thoughts intact in between two people and make precise perceptions about one another this can be rather hard when using technology such as text messaging. Nothing is as good as being able to look into someone’s eyes when they are talking with you; the entire verbal language to include body language is very important and tells the entire story rather than reading a text message or an email.
