Re: Recommendation for purchasing a Web-Conferencing Program

This memo serves as a request from you to research and gather information on web-conferencing programs to be purchase to hold weekly status meetings. Based on my Internet research, I have chosen Citrix GoToMeeting 4.5 (Moore, 2004) as the best choice, even comparing to Cisco WebEx Meeting (Ziff Davis Media Inc., 2005) and various other programs for web-conferencing in the company. Below are different web-conferencing programs comparisons (Compact test results of top five web-conferencing comparisons, 2009). Below is the overall score of each web-conferencing program. The best score is 5 and the lowest is 1.

* User-friendly

* Software installation easy

* Reasonable pricing

* Suitable for Windows and Mac systems

Purchasing the Citrix GoToMeeting 4.5 web-conferencing program will decrease the company’s travel expense and meeting time, software installation is easy, and system requirements are met by the company’s documentation of computer systems within the company.
