Communication is the basic tool for a researcher or a scientist. Information that is communicated should be relevant, informative and easy to understand. The purpose of communication research study is to determine whether research communication have made a difference in the practices or outcomes of communication in society.

The article chosen is about communication openness in the research process, and the

importance of how critical it is for the effectiveness, efficiency, and overall success of the

research project.

The focus of this study provides information on communication and how essential it is

when conducting research. Researchers communicate both verbally and written, with graphs,

diagrams, maps, equations and other methods of visual demonstrations to provide insight to a

particular research. Once the information is gathered, the data must b interpreted to produce not

only inference but predictions and a hypothesis as well.

Whether the work is framed as engaged, applied or value driven, it shares the goals of

addressing real problems in ways that allow one to apply the findings in way that improves social

conditions. Many researchers do not recognize how their work can be applied to make a

difference. However in order to address the real problems, information must be gathered from

several different sources, and usually in the form of a research team which would provide

additional information with a broader outlook.

Hypothesis are both accepted and rejected, depending on what the study is and what

conclusions were made. Most research is not accessible to decision makers and decisions can not

be made immediately and they may take time.

In this article researchers are limited to a degree as to how the research processed makes

a difference by creating new knowledge. Researchers must be efficient and focused in their
