OVERVIEW

We are looking to join forces with your agency, DSS, to assist in the goal of improving the lives of our youth and young adult population. We aim to provide interventions that promote self sufficiency in our youth and young adult population. We also, aim to reduce the frequency in which this population is incarcerated and ultimately provide productive alternatives that they can utilize in everyday life. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and continue to improve the lives of at risk youth and young adults.

Our agency has recently acquired a coffee shop, “Goodfella’s Caf’e”, located in South Baltimore. Once a week we train our population to work in a coffee shop. They learn retail, customer service, personal & social skills, accountability, communication skills and overall responsibility. Once they complete 40 hours of training they are certified as a barista (trained making coffee and various espresso drinks.)
