CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

Today’s generation has deal with lots of technologies. Most of the people invent and present. Everything in this world is covered with high technology gadgets such as phones that is used worldwide for communication, iPad/iPod for entertainment and sometimes for work, laptops even machines in the factories and appliances at home. Everything gets easier these days just by using these advancements. But how about doing something out of the usual courseby using only your imagination. Many engineers are making milestones on improving the society by making life so much easier but life gets so much boring if everything is so easy to do. Many art enthusiast are looking for something new in the eye and this project will be very interesting especially to the people who loves art and imagination.

A combination of both art and machine, the infinite mirror illusion. The infinite mirror illusion is one of the most appealing art that simple electronics can do. This project is based from the infinite mirror which the members decided to collaborate it with the Arduino Uno and control the lights to make an illusion.

BACKGROUND

The infinite mirror illusions major materials are a Microprocessor and a Mirror.A microprocessor incorporates the functions of a computer's central processing unit (CPU) on a single integrated circuit (IC), or at most a few integrated circuits. All modern CPUs are microprocessors making the micro- prefix redundant. The microprocessor is a multipurpose, programmable device that accepts digital data as input, processes it according to instructions stored in its memory, and provides results as output. It is an example of sequential digital logic, as it has internal memory. Microprocessors operate on numbers and symbols represented in the binary numeral system.

Arduino are one the examples of microprocessors. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for anyone making...
