Internship Course

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Internship objective

The new challenge and opportunity to learn, improve and develop new sets of skills have been opened for me when I choose to do internship in Malaysia; I wanted to benefit from the experience of working abroad.

Working as Sale and Global Project Solution, performing duties and activities and analyzing them from different perspectives where I have to be able to do quick research as well as improve a lot of communication skills by sending e-mail or co-calls. Besides, in Global Project Solution, where I have to be able to prepare a realistic and correct budget, comparing prices based on the budget price and also always try to match both target pricing between our company and supplier. These are 2 major competencies that I have to conduct and focus on during my internship.

1.1.1 Major Competency

Project executor:

I want to contribute to the company’s objectives by applying the knowledge I obtained during my education such as the important aspects of communication including marketing communication, advertising, PR, media, written communication, information, organization and management.

Strategist:

As a Strategist, I want to come up with plans for any of my work, managing the time and way of approach to shorten the time but with high benefits in return as well as accuracy.

Researcher

As a Researcher, I want to research and come up with ideas on how to improve the accuracy and trustworthy of the research sources.

1.1.2 Minor competency

Project Organizer

As a Project Organizer, I wanted to assist the company with the planning of events or extra co-curriculum so we can “work hard, play hard”.
