The culture at BMW is the entrepreneurial work culture which is uncommon in corporate Germany. Unlike other corporations in German that have top-down management which the top management team in the companies get together and make any decisions for the companies and there is a big gap between the top management and the employees, BMW is totally different. BMW’s work culture values its employees’ benefits and ideas and there is no gap between the top management and the employees. Entrepreneurial work culture values any changes or ideas that are suggested from the employees for better results in the company. The top management would work with the employees to create better products and plans to make the company better. The top management always opens for new ideas, innovation from any employees. The company also pays attention to the employees’ needs, provides the employees the best work environment, and makes the employees feel like home while working at BMW. The employees would feel free when making new suggestions for the company and feel being appreciated when their new ideas are accepted and applied. At BMW, the employees are treated like family with respects. Though the employees are expected to be professional and accurate which they need to help the company to accomplish success, they would be rewarded for their hard work. The employees work side by side and top management and the employees work together to help BMW achieving success.
