Club IT is under new management and the managers Ruben and Lisa are looking for new ways to operate and organize their business so that it will be successful. In order to keep the business successful they will need to change the way that they handle business and manage their customers. Ruben and Lisa’s company website that is lacking information that is professional for customers to interact with the business as well as the staff. After evaluating the operation of the club, there are a variety of recommendations that need to be implemented in order to enhance the business.

First problem that I have noticed is that the internet that is being used is on dial up. Even though they are trying save money the dial up makes it a lot harder to communicate with staff, suppliers and run credit cards at one time. I think that they should consider switching to high speed internet and install a secondary line even though the cost for the second line will increase their monthly expenses. By installing the second line this will allow the company to have numerous options for planning the website and having better communication with customers and the supplier. This will prevent them from using the main line for everything and it allows the club to still make reservations and purchase orders to suppliers. Upgrading to a high speed service will increase the chances of the club upgrading to a new IT system which will allow the club operations to move more smoothly. To increase the club occupancy they would need to establish relationships with existing and new customers. A CRM program will also help the club with online membership and customer surveys. Surveys would give Ruben and Lisa an idea on how their customers feel about services, products, and options on what needs to change.
