30 ton Biomass fired CFB boilers

As a kind of recycle energy, biomass has the characteristics of low calorific value, how ash fusion point and high content of alkali metal, and some biomass also has high content of moisture. Considering special composition and combustion characteristics of biomass, Beijing Nowva and Tsinghua University co-developed 30ton biomass fired HCFB boiler. This boiler owns the characteristics of high thermal efficiency, no clinker, no ash accumulation and good fuel adaptability, ect.

30t biomass CFB boiler Technical Parameters

Boiler Type: Horizontal CFB boiler

Rated output: 4~75t/h(2.8MW~53MW)

Thermal efficiency: 86~90%

Furnace structure: Membrane wall

Dust removal: bag-type

Designed fuel: tobacco stem

NOx treatment: stage combustion with low temperature

Utility: power generation, heat supply, industrial gas

Biomass fired HCFB boiler owns the following technical characteristics:

1. Increase combustion time and thermal efficiency

There is a high content of volatile matters (more than 70%) in biomass. Since the stoker-fired boiler and normal CFB boiler have limited furnace height, and the volatile matters only can stay a shorter time within furnace, so it they can’t achieve a good burn out rate. And in comparison, the HCFB boiler increases 60% height of furnace by adopting three-stage furnace structure. Therefore it extends the combustion time of volatile matters and achieves a complete combustion. Meanwhile, this boiler adopts two-stage ash circulation structure to further reduce carbon content in the ash, and the flammable matter in fly ash is less than 3%. Except high thermal efficiency, this boiler also adopts full membrane structure with good thermal insulation and less heat loss (only 1%). As tested, a 15t/h biomass fired HCFB...
