In forming a learning team all members will agree upon ways to resolve any disputes that might result. In the learning team if a problem does arise the learning team will seek out ways to resolve the problem amongst each other. All members of the team will be involved in the decision making process. All team members will strive to work together in a safe environment setting that will allow all members to participate in the work that is set forth by the instructor.

In working with a team all members will be subject to an ADR clause that will resolve all disputes that cannot be worked out by each team member. Each team member must stay in contact with each other. Communication is the key to everyone’s success. All members must communicate through e-mail, telephone calls, instant messaging, or texting. Setting up a meeting place is a good way for everyone to get together and work out any problems that may have arisen during the week.

Problems that might arise and need a mediator to step in can include but not be limited to any of the following items: non communication, not helping with assignment, arguing over who is going to do what part, when the assignment should be turned in, and when each member should have their part completed. If all team members try to come to terms with a solution to the problem and cannot come to terms then an arbitrator will be contacted. An arbitrator will be contacted and set up a meeting within a week of being contacted. All parties will discuss the problem with the arbitrator and the arbitrator will have the final say in the decision of the team involved.

From the day that the arbitrator is contacted a scheduled date will be provided to all parties for the hearing to be conducted. The arbitrator will listen to all parties involved. Taken from the facts gathered at the hearing the arbitrator will render a decision in 72 hours. All decisions are final and all parties must and will abide by the ruling.
