Implementing Change

In today’s society being a manager, can be very challenging and complex, with all of the latest technology are at a constant change. Many companies are in a high demand for implementing change to their company for the good of the business.

Roles and Responsibility

It is a manager role and responsibilities to implement change to their employees, and make sure that they understand what is about to happen within the company. Many employees may feel imitated by the change to the company. As the duties of the manager they must make them feel comfortable about the move answer any questions and concerns that they may have, one way is by showing your employees that they are a valuable asset to the company (forresidentialpros.com).

You should make sure the employees know when the deadline is due for the change. Approach them in a positive and trusting manner. Listen to the employees if they have any input about the change in the department that will help to with move the transition to the department. As manager you will need to support the entire team through the process of changes, for instance the manager should come up with a plan to drive incentives to have a positive outlook for employees such as setting up a rewards program or a raffle to relevant the stress that may occur with the employees.

Resistance to Change

Many times in implementing change to a department a resistance will come among employees with this a manager are faced with challenges. In this situation, you will have a large employee turnover, missed deadlines, tardiness, and negativism with the employees within the company (www.bia.ca/articles).
