1. Please devote at least one hour in your next study group/team meeting to this assignment.

2. Before your team meets, go to www.globalroadwarrior.com and read some of the cultural information on each of your team members’ countries, as well as your own country. Take some notes on cultural characteristics that seem different from those of your own culture.

3. Next, study your Cultural Perspectives Questionnaire (CPQ) results. Are there Dimensions in which your personal score differs significantly from the average score for your birth culture? If so, what might account for those differences? Then, compare your scores on each Dimension with the averages for the entire Hult group. Where are you significantly different? Where are you very similar? How might these similarities and differences affect your interactions and behavior with other Hult students?

4. Bring your CPQ results page to the team meeting. (If you do not have a results page, just bring your notes on your own culture.)

5. In your team meeting, discuss the following issues:

(a) Compare your CPQ results on each of the five Orientations with those of your team members. On what Dimensions are you most different? Most similar?

(b) Share with your team members at least two examples of how your personal behavior illustrates your scores on various Dimensions.

(c) How can you and your fellow team members apply the M-B-I framework to deal constructively with these differences in your future work together?

(d) Finally, take some time to discuss how the educational system in your country differs from what you have experienced so far at Hult. How does your own cultural background affect your expectations about teaching styles, student behaviors, assignments, and how you can learn most effectively this year?
