Tourism Plan for the Municipality of Lemery Batangas

We are the fourth year students of Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas taking up Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management from 4B have a planned to develop an Eco-Park in the Municipality of Lemery, where we will construct recreational activities which are suitable for touth camps, families and also for the admitting tourist who are ventured in those outside activities.

The reason why we choose the Municipality of Lemery because we’ve seen a lot of expanded tourist destination that we can build here. Lemery is known for its agricultural and ecological industry.

As we build our project in Lemery, it will be named “Lemery Ecological and Recreational Park” that will serve as one of the tourist destination in Lemery. We Believe this Recreational and Ecological Park is emerging in response to these changing social needs. Proposing the natural beauty of the place we will develop the area by setting up an environmental friendly progress on it.

RELEVANT STUDIES

When talking about parks, it’s important to begin at the beginning, with the idea of nature. The park developed out of a world view that sets nature a culture in opposition to each other. We live in a world where we value nature by virtue of its ecological worth and not just its aesthetic appeal, where biodiversity, environmental justice, climate change, habitat protection, and sustainable economic development are both social and environmental needs. Today we think of the world as having limits and resources as finite.

Many existing parks are currently experiencing difficulties in achieving their conservation aims, yet they remain an important option for maintaining and enhancing the conservation of biological diversity and ecosystem processes.
