I propose that PNC begins its support to the American Cancer Society as an addition to already-supported community fundraisers such as the Grow Up Great program. I would like to "pilot" this endeavor for one (1) full year to prove company and community involvement to a charity desperately in need.
To enact the American Society's "Daffodil Days" within the PNC footprint, beginning January 1, 2011 to April 1, 2011.

Allocation of tasks
The Daffodil Days program begins each spring and lasts for only one week. Orders are received and submitted to the American Cancer Society who in turn, delivers daffodil flowers, vases, and a stuffed bear to customers and/or recipients undergoing cancer treatment.
I have been a Daffodil Days Coordinator for the American Cancer Society for the past 12 years. My involvement consists of the fundraising event (via email, flyers and other communication methods) where information is presented to customers for review. Interested parties would then contact me with their orders and their payment. Once the deadline is established, the orders and payment are sent to the American Cancer Society where on a selected day, ordered items are delivered to be picked up by participating customers.
