Internal Auditing Manager - The Internal Auditing Manager is responsible for organizing and overseeing internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, often managing a team of auditors. The Audit Manager will oversee the review process then make any necessary recommendations to change policies, implement new systems or even change employee roles and team structures. The Audit Manager will work directly with the Finance Director and company directors.
Chief Internal Auditor - The role of the chief internal auditor is to monitor and verify the adequacy, effectiveness and correct operation of the internal audit system.
The chief internal auditor has an appropriate level of independence (he or she does not head an operating area, works fully independently from the heads of operating activities and reports to the Board of Directors).
Internal Audit Director - The Internal Audit Director directs the management of the internal control systems, effectiveness of risk management and establishing good corporate governance processes. The primary objective of the Internal Audit Director is to assist the authority to discharge its responsibilities in and efficient and effective manner. The Internal Audit Director has the Internal Audit Manager under him.
Vice President (VP) – Internal Audit - The objective of a vice president of internal audit is to detect flaws and improve them, making operations more efficient. They must also make sure that the various departments within the company are adhering to corporate policies and the law
