The Palestinian State

The Palestinian state and area has been in constant chaos because of religion, territorial rights, and cultural differences. The continual faction fighting and undeclared war against Israel, is not good for the children of either country. Today, as the world looks at Palestine and Israel, there is a desire for peace. A possible solution has been found, but it will not be through the adults, but the children. Hopefully the children will lead the way to what adults are blind to see.

Because of the constant conflict with Israel and uncertain leadership of the Palestinian state, children of Palestine may never see a peace through a child’s eyes. Imagine being a child who has never known being able to play without the threat of violence from a country they have no knowledge of?

This region has been in an ongoing conflict since ancient times when Palestine was known as the area was known as Philistia. The country was made up by states known as Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashod, Ekron and Gath. The country was later conquered by Assyrian Empire. Today, Palestine is the area between Israel and Israeli occupied Palestinian territories, parts of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The state of Israel was created in 1947, when the United Nations (UN) voted to partition Palestine to create a Jewish State, an Arab State and an UN-administered Jerusalem., a Jewish home land was further supported by the British in 1949.
