If I had to guess, I would say my subordinates would describe my leadership as fair. I, believe that the can see how I treat them and their peers equally, whether it is disciplining, rewarding my troops working for me. They see how, I show no favoritism, but the hard work and performance/work results are rewarded. As for my supervisor’s thoughts of my followership, he is fairly new to the flight and only interacted on a professional level, but he undoubtingly have to say about my followership, is I take into consideration everything he has to teach, but I apply it in different ways and if something is not working out the way he does it, then he knows I can handle it with a different approach to where it works for me as a leader. We have yet to bump heads or have any disagreements, so it is safe to say the followership between my supervisor and I, seems to be working out.

Empowerment is my leadership style. I, have been using this style and it has worked for me thus far. I, do my best to empower the troops in my shop to try things that will make them and the workplace better environment. Also, they are empowered to come up with time efficient ways to complete any job/tasks given, before coming to me for guidance. I do believe my leadership style has been very effective. The results have shown in all my troops with the exception of one, but not only have I, done it to my troops, but to a few of my peers and airmen not directly under me. As far as thoughts of me as an NCO, I think I have done a good job, but truly believe I can do better. Till this point, I have done very well in guiding and training all my troops, but I still feel that I can make them better early in their careers, but to do so I have to become better myself.
