MIS clearly defines framework of guidelines, policies or practices, standards, and procedures for the organization. These should be followed throughout the institution in the development, maintenance, and use of all MIS.MIS is viewed and used at many levels by management. It should be supportive of the institution's longer term strategic goals and objectives.MIS also enhances job performance throughout an institution. At the most senior levels, it provides the data and information to help the board and management make strategic decisions. At other levels, MIS provides the means through which the institution's activities are monitored and information is distributed to management, employees, and customers. To the other extreme it is also those everyday financial accounting systems that are used to ensure basic control is maintained over financial recordkeeping activities.

Taxicabs play an important role in bridging the gap between private transportation, buses, and rail systems in urban areas. Although taxi services differ significantly by country, they share many common characteristics worldwide. In particular, passenger demand for taxicabs depends not only on the price of a ride but also on the waiting time. Excess capacity in the form of empty cabs is not necessarily wasteful but in fact may be socially desirable, as it increases the value of the service through lower waiting times. When researching designs relevant to virgin tours systems comparable to our initial concept, we found 2 similar models. These systems are automated to some degree, but shortcomings in their designs were believed to exist that could be addressed by our eventual innovations on an automated virgin tours system. After the study of the Yellow Cab of Philadelphia and its expanding Para Transit and contract business ,By 1981 the company started tracking vehicles, drivers, reservations, charge voucher billing and staff performance with its new Taxi Dispatch Software and computer applications...
