Creating a marketing department that will hold all of the marketing activities of the expanding company. It is reported that the general manager acts as the marketing executive and directly transacts business with customers. As the company expands its product quantity, a need for the extensive marketing management is a must. It was decided that a new product line will be added in the future product categories and as a result, the marketing activities will also proportionately increase. In the current organizational chart, the general manager is said to be the head of the engineering manager and the production manager. This means that the general manager could possibly find the job difficult. The general manager must hold only the reports coming from the different managers and not the activities under the engineering division and the production division and at the same time, Engr. Jesus Ualat take charge of the marketing activities mentioned above.

The company also has a long range plan under marketing plan. The company aims to have a total of P154M on the next first year, P194M for the next second year, P249M for the next third year. This goals fall under the long range plan. To reach and attain these plans, good marketing strategies has to undertake.

The company officers must always consider that marketing is the life blood of any business. The profitability of the company depends on the marketing status of the company.

In solution to this, a new department must be proposed. That department will be the marketing department. Under the department are the marketing manager, marketing research, advertising, and sales.

The marketing manager will generally hold all the reports under his supervision, he will analyse the marketing reports and make further marketing plans to maximize the sales capacity of the company and even bring it to further extent.
