Description

Editing Checklist. Throughout this course, you have taken numerous quizzes and received feedback from your instructor and classmates. Starting with your Grammar Assessment and reviewing all instructor feedback and quiz results, create a list of your five most frequent errors. Add your list of five errors to the “Editing Checklist” handout (available in the online course). Next, choose two proofreading strategies from section 9.4 of Essentials of College Writing and use those strategies to edit your essay. For your initial post:

Attach a copy of your editing checklist.

Describe the two proofreading strategies that you used.

Explain which strategy you prefer and why.

Explain what the benefits and drawbacks are for each strategy.

Reflection posts must be 300 to 400 words in length and posted by Day 3. You are not required to respond to your peers, but may do so if you choose. If you have questions about how to participate in discussions, consult “About Discussions” under the Course Home menu. You are not required to support your claims with additional scholarly materials; however, should you decide to use additional sources, make sure you properly cite any references. Refer to the Ashford writing Center’s Citation and Reference Guide for guidelines on citing sources in APA style.
