Introduction

Critical thinking in business has proven to be a mainstay in the entrepreneurial age as we know it from our past. We see companies like Apple who provide us a way to communicate and research through handheld devices. Facebook allows us to interact socially from anyplace in the world. Instagram allows us to send pictures and capture them immediately. Critical thinking and ethics allows challenging the integrity of new technical products in the future as we use them and virtually depend on them for everyday life. In this paper we will discuss the differences in critical thinking and ethics as it relates to business.

Critical Thinking Process

The critical thinking process is a strict, cognitive process whereby one uses his paradigm to influence his actions, thoughts, beliefs, and modes of operations. According to http://www.educatorstechnology.com/2014/04/the-8-elements-of-critical-thinking.html

“Critical thinking is a cognitive process that requires disruptive patterns of thinking, ones that question the status quo of propositions and leads to the creation of alternative lines of reasoning. Defining critical thinking as a process signifies by implication the presence of different elements, stages, steps you name it that constitute and shapes its core.”

Thinking has everything to do with the success of new world of business. However ethics play a part in critical thinking due to critical thinking relying on idea generation and complexity. Idea generation can be bias and non-critical for example: e.g. people in Oakland feel differently about drinking water than the people in Memphis, TN. While the people in Oakland who experience lack in water out puts, if you talked to a Memphian they would think that there is a problem with the government there because water is clean and plenteous here....
