I. ABSTRACT

Any kind of soap has its disadvantages, specifically cake soap and powdered detergents. They contain certain chemicals in its base component, particularly, APOC2 which may be left in delicate utensils or dishes thereby cause allergic reaction to the human body moreso to the infant and young kid using feeding bottles. The purpose of Oregano Liquid Soap is to eliminate then precipitates and strong odor contained on surfaces of these dishes. Our product being composed of natural and edible source, oregano can neutralize the base component APOC2 while serving the same role of dishwashing, body soap and hand wash.

III. INTRODUCTION

In an interview conducted by us with housekeepers we singled out a common comment on dishwashing problem as the powder-like substance left on surfaces of washed dishes. So we thought of addressing this problem with our experiment on oregano based liquid soap. Oregano (Origanum Vulgare) is an herbal plant used as a medicine, culinary spice and as a food preservative. It is also used especially for wounds, burns, and bruises by applying its leaves directly because it has antiseptic properties. It contains chemicals that helps fight against some bacteria, viruses, fungi and other parasites.
