Advertising – Our mass market approach to promotion

Based on our Market research previously, we have found that many parents do prefer a magazine or Newspaper advertorial over banners or radio as they are more incline to read something that is easily available at home or at their workplace. I think it is safe for us to advertise our products in mother and children magazines such as ‘Parents’, ‘Mother and Child’ and even ‘Simply Her’ or ‘Her World’ as these magazines are the most commonly featured magazines in the market for children’s wear and women’s wear.

Public Relations

Also, we will be releasing press releases of our brand to the public, either through subscription or email. This press release will include our latest collection updates and monthly artist feature, also the various activities and art competition (drawing, design, colouring contests) that children can take part in. We hope to be able to engage our customers more by creating an interactive press release that will entice them into visiting our shop.

Personal selling (Direct salesman marketing)

We feel that the best way for us to cater to a more international crowd and increase our brand awareness is by joining tradeshows and exhibitions to showcase our products at the event. After conducting some desk research, we’ve found a couple of promising and listed tradeshows such as Kindundjugend, Playtime New York which is known to have children’s wear from 0-12yrs, ENK Children’s Club, Bubble London where the latest trends from across the children’s fashion industry will be illuminated at the show with trend forecasting seminars from Collezioni’s associate editor and freelance stylist Peppe Orru and Stylesight’s childrenswear specialist Kim Mannino. Visitors attending the show can join these seminars free of charge. Also, to cater to a more Asian market, we felt that the China Kids Expo which is currently Asia’s most influential fair would be a choice tradeshow for us to exhibit as well. These...
