Why Im in

Reasons I joined the army was so I could become something more than what I was becoming before I joined the military. I did it for myself so I could pick up some great qualities the military has to offer. I didn’t know to the full extent of what I was signing up for, or how much sacrifice I was going to have to give. I knew I was leaving behind my family and friends and I had menatlly prepared my self for these occasions. I was excited for what I was getting myself into I was going to become a man once I got through basic training. And everyone warned me how hard the infantry was but I didn’t care I was excited for it, all the stories I would hear of the camaraderie and botherhood you made in it was all I was looking forward to. The way some friends had it where you would get drunk and fight at bars and your boys would have your back no matter what I knew I was ready for the fun part. But the hard times the hard work and always trying to better yourself than the next guy was something I couldn’t resist, I love competition and braging rights, I just knew it wouldn’t be fun all the time there would be its sucky times but I didn’t care I wanted to learn how to kill the enemy and how to shoot a rifle and become the united states protectors. I love the infantry I love what I do and it’s the best job I ever had. I have formed some good friendships here and have grown and learned a lot since ive been in.

Being in this botherhood is an honor that not everyone gets to share not everyone know what your talking about when you try an explain how close you are to your battle buddies. Not everyone can do what we do and can ever do what we do. Its one of the most respectable things ive ever done and been in. I have such great respect for those who have been in before and I understand what its like to serve. But not entirely I still havent deployed and its something I crave something I really want to do and say I did before I get out of the military then that would be the only...
