Service Description An evaluation for development of an ERP system to track and manage raw materials and a finished product inventory across all plants

Description of Service Request

As we are all well aware, here are Riordan Manufacturing, Inc. we are a part of a global industry giant. Our operations span not only across different states (GA and MI) but internationally as well (China), offering many different plastic products to our customers. Each plant is currently operating with its own individual IT systems that track and manage materials and inventory. This leaves our organization in a state of separation and the need for a new system (ERP) stems from exactly this.

This service request, submitted by Hugh McCrauley, COO and Mark Neizel, VP of Operations, addresses the organizations need for the development of an ERP system. Enterprise resource planning systems are used to collect, store, manage, and interpret a vast amount of data. Implementing this new type of business process management software which will allow us to operate as a whole in the most effective and efficient manner is the overall goal of this request. I must first evaluate exactly what it will require in order to integrate each of the current systems into one well-oiled machine. I will then need to create a clear overview and plan of action for exactly how we will achieve the goal.
