Strategic Plan Part III: Scorecard
To further analyze the strategic goals of the new division of Boeing in its mutual correlation with the research and creation of the batteries for the purposes of helping to improve the boost on the jet engines, a balance scorecard will be utilized to provide insights to the mission and Vision of Boeing. In my opinion, the below could and would surely benefit Boeing in collecting realistic information.
Financial
Boeing would have to focus on developing its competitive and technological edge and continuously attract new investors to promote and grow the new product line. The goal is to achieve an 8% quarterly growth. It is quite clear that in order to increase the profits the organization, its engineers in particular, will have to concentrate complete attention on developing new and improving eco-friendly technologies that will attract new investors. In addition to the propose set of batteries, Boeing will also incorporate optional services such as an access to the research granted to engineering students that are interested in this field. It goes without saying that offering grants can be beneficial for both Boeing and students involved, which will, first and foremost, boost students’ involvement and dedication as well as will raise the number of the proposal received for better ways to speed up the research and will surely increase the number of ideas for new eco-friendly technologies. Adding this optional service our investor will see that Boeing is looking towards the future not only of the company but the future of the generations. I stick to the opinion that these types of services should increase investor’s confidence what, in its turn, will generate an additional income of 15% to 30%.
