Rationale

I used the tag line that reflects the connection of sports and the resort. Very next I cleared what type of sports visitors can enjoy. Then the use of graphics to display the room rates (which is variable) is displayed, mentioning the rates is important at the time of competition if the resort is offering the competitive pricing. In this case there is advantage of having all sorts of rooms and if you have one, it’s best to represent it in the advertisement for a competitive edge.

Mentioning the range of cuisine is optional as long as it’s not your strong point, better not to mention it.

There is word limit and ad is black and white, so it’s important to use simple graphics which don’t distort the advertisement. Mentioning some logos that are self explanatory can be used like Gym, Spa, Restaurant, landscape, etc.

Other travelling magazines for the advertisement can be “Wanderlust travel magazine” and “Sports + Travel”. Both magazines cover the targeted audience – passionate and sports lover. The later magazine will help in attracting tourist to stay during their visits in U.S. and the former one will cover every passionate traveller.

Contacting the local magazine will also benefit for raising the weekend revenue in short term.
