Albany­Schenectady­Troy, NY ­ Today, the Images of the King Elvis Festival announced that its Elvis Tribute 

Artist winner David Lee has taken the top prize in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held in Memphis, 

Tennessee.

Lee won the Ocean City qualifier at the annual festival in October 2014 and with that win, the honor of 

competing in Memphis for the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist. The 24 best tribute artists from around 

the world competed the week of August 10 for $20,000 in prize money, a contract to perform with the live 

tribute show, "Legends in Concert" and other prizes.

"This is a dream come true ­ there's no higher honor," said Lee. "This is my 20th year performing as Elvis and 

winning the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist is the top of the mountain. Over the years, I've won the title

contest in Memphis."
