INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background of the Study

Nowadays, Technology seems to be the mainstream not only in our country but around the world. Computer Systems are the trend in this society nowadays. This can help the users to connect with other people inside and outside of its premises. Users are using computer system to cope up to the rising development of the industry. In this society, there are many kinds of businesses that manipulate through system. This businesses compete with each other. Among this businesses, the restaurant was selected to provide the system.

The VMES canteen is a small-scale restaurant located at De La Salle Araneta University, LSB Cafeteria Victoneta Ave., Malabon City. This company is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Delos Reyes. The company name is VMES (Veterinary Medicine and Elementary School Canteen). This canteen has been in school canteen concession and catering services for over 30 years. Now serving three schools with approximately eleven thousand student. A family run business spearheaded by Mrs. Venus De Lose Reyes. Having a burning fashion since it started at Gregorio Araneta University Foundation now De La Salle Araneta University. Since 1984 to present operating a full scale canteen concession and catering services. Being true to its mission of providing great food and featuring a wide variety of food choices for the college, basic education students, school officials, faculties and employees.

VMES Canteen through the years we develop in serving different school canteen here in metro manila, proven in so many occasion that our catering our catering services is comparatively competitive to others. In most of special occasion such as testimonial dinner, alumni home coming, foundation week celebration, graduations, school officials birthday parties, acquaintance parties, recollections, seminars, forum, Christmas parties and other occasion from the biggest to the smallest school meetings.
