CHAPTER 1

THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING

Introduction

The information system about Dominican College Santa Rosa is created to inspire people to visit and enroll the said school. The school is perfect for students who do not want to study in far places. It is also a good place for boosting one’s self confidence and talents.

Dominican College Santa Rosa was founded by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic who are inspired by St. Dominic’s love for a quest for truth and determined to evangelize it. Their vision began to become a reality when the first building they built, which once held the elementary and high school, was followed by the second and third buildings, the Veritas Gym, the Swimming pool, the center stage, and the new roof covering the pool.

What makes Dominican College Santa Rosa different from other colleges is that they update their lessons and books in order to keep their students well informed about today’s growing education plans. The schools also have unique labs that can enhance a student’s knowledge about their future college courses.
