Apple is committed to bringing the best personal computing experience to students, educators, creators, professionals, and consumers around the world through innovative hardware, software and Internet offering. Apple has developed a wide variety of unique products for consumers through progressive innovative ideas. Apple has put forth the first computer; The Macintosh. The newest addition to the Apple family is the iPad. The iPad is in a whole new category of technology that has sparked our interest in the product. Being in the age group of the target market for this product the iPad seemed like a successful product to research and market. The Apple iPad has been designed to replace the laptop computer with its sleek lightweight design and many applications and features that it offers. The iPad has been designed to run all of the fun, free downloadable Apple Apps that the iPhone can but has included a new gaming platform that has allowed game developers to create games specifically for the iPad and its as simple as going onto iTunes and downloading them for free or paying a low price. This has also opened a new opportunity for Apple to launch a new market as well as help an old one. Apple has incorporated the iTunes Bookstore to accompany the iPad where a user can go to an online store to purchase E-Books and then read them on the iPad. The New York Times offers an online newspaper where users can catch up on daily news as it happens. A dying market has now been revitalized with this simple product.
