KG MobilePayments Ltd had been established in July 2007 with the goal of becoming leading player in the potential market of mobile micro payments within Kyrgyz Republic. By the late 2008 it has launched in commercial service remote mobile payments system operated under the brand of E-Som.kg that provides opportunity to anyone with mobile phone number to pay for goods and services using account with cellular operator.
