Executive Summary

This report will investigate the number of refugees in Australia: Muslim resettlement issues, perception issues and humanitarian program for Muslims as well as problems of resettlement with Muslim women. In Australia the number of Muslims was really struggled with perception of resettlement in Australia when they immigrated to Australia, because everything was really overwhelmed with religion, culture as well as education which the class is co-ed class. In addition, many law enforcement agencies and academic experts are analyzing the situation and working to combat it. This report will examine the key causes of resettlement issues for Muslims. As a result, William Jonas stated that the acting Race Discrimination Commissioner of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (William Jonas , 2001, 06) so this report involves three main components.

1. Issue Discussion

Australia has plenty of refugees from different parts of the world. Especially, after Second World War, approximately 645,000 Muslim refugees came to Australia so they need of humanitarian resettlement. However, it was really harsh for Muslim people to learn the new language and education of resettlement because they have to change all of their life styles. Therefore, the number of Muslims immigrant to Australia so they need to learn Australia’s culture. In addition, they have to overcome the threat of racism in Australia.

1.1 Perception issues in Australia for Muslims.

Since the Second World War, one of the most important factors in Muslim refugee resettlement is public perceptions when they go into the community and they have totally different religion and practices.
