REACTION PAPER

(ENGLISH 102)

The part of the Advanced Listening & Dialogue I liked the best is the Invention of the Airplane, because way back when I was a child, I was always curious about how planes were invented so in order to know more about planes you will research first who invented it. When I found out that the Wright brothers were the ones who invented it, I was already satisfied with all the details I gathered about it. But when I found out recently via DynEd Lecture that they were not the only ones who made it, there were some folks who helped them in making it possible to fly. Upon discovering more information about the invention of the airplane, I want to go back in researching more about those who helped the Wright brothers.

The lessons in the Advanced Listening & Dialogue helped me in improving my communication skills in English by engaging conversations using the English language to anyone I encounter, even though I grew up using Tagalog and English, my proficiency in using English via communicating improved because you really have to think through of what you are going to say and what you want to say and by that you must check your phrases and know the stress before you speak.

My comment towards the implementation of the DynEd Program is actually a good idea, because not all of us are that good in using the English language or even understanding the words in English language. This DynEd Program is a way for students to learn in a new way of communicating so since this is a good idea. Keep it up and more advancement of the program so that everyone will be able to communicate well. Though I also suggest to extend the time until we can finish the lessons, because 2 weeks is not enough for those who did not understand some parts of the lesson, so that they can watch and learn again about the topic.
