When everyone inside the room has left, the room will then be declared available on the map. There could also be an added feature to manually declare a room unavailable or available in the case of hardware malfunctions. This will help efficiency when it comes to getting people the care they need quickly. The cons to this are that the sensors could possibly mess up or not send the data correctly to the application. This could possibly lead to confusion and anger among patients and employees alike. Still, it is a very possible invention that could be implemented in our hospitals today.
