Subject: Progress Report on Purchasing a Graphics Processing Unit for Fantasy Land Inc.
Purpose
This is a progress report on my research for a new Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for Fantasy Land Inc.
Summary
I have been researching makes and models of Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) for Fantasy Land Inc. I have identified three models which meet the needs of Fantasy Land Inc. In this proposal I will go over the work that has been completed to date, the work that is yet to be completed and the updated schedule. I also have established criteria for the Graphic Processing Units that I will use to evaluate the Graphic Processing Units.
My study is currently on schedule and within the original budget. I expect to submit a recommendation report by November 17th.
Introduction
On October 24th, I received approval of my proposal to research and evaluate options for the purchasing of a new GPU. GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit, which preforms the display output. Fantasy Land Inc. needs a new GPU due to lack of processing power. The results of my research will be presented in a recommendation report on November 17th.
The lack of processing power in Fantasy Land Inc. has resulted in lower quality of life, chronic headaches due to peasant level frames per second, and increased time for completing basic tasks.
Completed Work
I will carry out the following tasks in order to ensure that Fantasy Land Inc. is choosing the best option while purchasing a new GPU.
Task 1: Identify six potential Graphics Processing Units.
I completed research for six different brands of GPUs to determine which is best suited for Fantasy Land Inc.
Task 2: Establish Graphics Processing Units criteria by determining our needs.
I know that any GPU we purchase will...
