PAYING CASH AND USING CREDIT CARD

A current trend shows that Malaysia people tend to use credit card rather than using cash. Many people who have high and moderate salary using credit card in certain transaction in their daily life. The using of credit card or cash in their life depend on an individual, whether they want to use it or did not want to use it. There are some differences between credit card and cash in way of spending the expenses. The different can be seen in the term of time, safety and limitation of spending.

Firstly, the most notable different between credit card and cash is the time. Cash is the easiest and it is fast compare to credit card. When we using cash while purchase, we just need to pay the amount that stated but if we use credit card there is a lot of procedure we need to do before the transaction happen. By using cash, we will have to wait just for a while and it only take a few minutes of our times for the transaction, while using credit card we have to wait because the cashier has to verify our card and get our signature. For example, if happen that we need to rushing when purchase, using cash is the most suitable compare to credit card. Therefore, the time show the most different in a way of spending expenses.

Secondly, the other difference is in term of safety. Nowadays, we can see a lot of crime cases in Malaysia that involved money like pickpocket, robbing, snatch theft and other. According to police statistic released by the Performance Management and Delivery unit (pemandu) indexed violent crime cases for the period of January to June increased from 14,811 to 15,098. This cases happen every in a week. From all this cases we can see that credit card is the more safety compare with cash.
