Introduction and Purpose

Argentina is a country located in the southern area by the south Atlantic ocean area. Due to its diverse climate area, it provides various types of weather to the farmers doing business in the area. As the geography website of Argentina mentions, "Comprising almost the entire southern half of South America, Argentina is the world's eighth largest country, covering an area of 2.8 million square km. Argentina possesses some of the world's tallest mountains, expansive deserts, and impressive waterfalls, with the diversity of the land ranging from wild, remote areas in southern Patagonia to the bustling metropolis of Buenos Aires in the north." (Geography, Argentina) Moreover, the purpose of this report is to perform a political and economic critical analysis of the country Argentina which could lead to a decision of expanding the business operation in this particular country. Also, whether this country is suitable for expansion of particular operation or branch will be entirely based on political and economic factors of this particular country.

Method: Political Analysis

Argentina has a democratic form of government. As mentioned in the Argentina Independent, "In Argentina, the president is both head of the state and head of the government. The government works on a multi-party system where the two most important parties are the Partido Justicialista which was developed by Perón from the 1940s (better known as the Peronists) and the Unión Cívica Radical founded in 1890 (the Radicals)." (Argentina Independent, 1) This statement defines that the democratic form of government is impacting the residents in a positive way because it is their chosen government.
