FREEDOM
We can consider freedom as one of the most important things that we have right now. Our heroes fought so much just for us to achieve the freedom that we deserve. Historical battles, blood, sacrifices, millions of lives are lost in the wars our country has been through. We cannot deny the fact that our country is really beautiful that is why many conquerors paid interest just to get it unfortunately, they didn’t succeed. We stood still and we gained the freedom that we have right now. Freedom is not only a presupposition of good life but it also entails Moral responsibility. We generally define freedom as the absence of all (unreasonable) restraint in our movements, our speech, our beliefs, and our activities. But is simply being left alone the same thing as freedom? Is being alone in the desert being free? And what is to count as an unreasonable restraint? If we think of almost any controversial social issue, particularly those involving drug taking, sex, or other personal activities, the vagueness of this question becomes painfully obvious.
People sometimes tend to seek freedom from the government. This is why we can see that there rallies to protest the government if they tend to not to agree on to something. Some teenagers want freedom from their parents. To do the things they want without someone restricting them. Some students want freedom from the school, they want their own rules or just skip classes whenever they want to. This is what I’m saying earlier, it entails moral responsibility. Freedom is a choice. You can totally be free without hurting someone. Obeying rules doesn’t mean you are not free. You are just using the rule as a moral guideline. You can do what you want but still you are not disobeying something from the regulations. Rules are there not to tell you what to do and what not to do.
