I. Organizational Mission, objectives, and Strategy
It is the mission of Herzing University to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate degrees and diploma programs to prepare a diverse and geographically distributed student population to meet the needs of employers in technology, business, healthcare (including social work), design, and public safety. Career-oriented degree programs include a complementary and integrated general education curriculum established to stimulate students’ intellectual growth, to contribute to their personal development, and to enhance their potential for career advancement.
II. Informational inventory
The students at Herzing University need to have their information readily available and they should be able to view their information form any computer they sign into in the school. The employees need the same and they need access to campusVue at all times in order to keep up with student activities. The computers at the New Orleans campus are about 40% upgraded and for future need the computers at the whole campus need to be upgraded.
III. Mission and Objectives of IS
The move from having a separate server at each school to having everything filtered from Wisconsin has proved to be beneficial to each school. There were programs developed to help the students reset their passwords. This took a lot of pressure off the system administrator at the school and allowed him or her to work on other projects.
