Subject: Importance of Management Behavior

As you are all aware from the meetings that we have been having over the last few months and memos that have been circulating you have been informed that beginning January 1st, 2011 InterClean, Inc. will be merging with EnviroTech. For the next two months I am sure there will be concerns from the rest of the staff and I cannot express how important it is for the management team to exhibit total professionalism and leadership during this time. The staff will be looking to us for leadership and will have numerous questions throughout this process. I am sure that the employees will have concerns about positions possibly being eliminated. Management must reinforce that we are adding staff to InterClean, Inc. and not eliminating positions. We have a great young management team and I expect nothing but the best from them. Please follow David Spencer’s example of leadership and solid work ethic to carry us through this merger.

With the acquisition of EnviroTech we will be absorbing approximately 60 EnviroTech employees. They will be added to the staff and operations departments. It is crucial that we welcome them with open arms and to blend them in with the staff that we currently have in place. It is our job to make sure that we keep our current staff and future staffs moral high through this difficult process. No one likes change but this is an exciting time for InterClean, Inc. to grow and capitalize on the opportunity that we have in front of us. InterClean, Inc. will become a company that offers a full spectrum of cleaning services and solutions that will add to our already strong revenue base. With growth will come expansion and more opportunities for the staff and for the entire company.
