negative pressure inside the wound to remove fluid, exudates, and infectious materials to

prepare the wound for healing and closure. It’s one of the oldest forms of medicinal

therapy. This therapy is helpful in treating various types of wounds such as acute wound

and chronic wound. Negative pressure wound therapy appears to be a safe treatment,

and serious adverse events.
