When I first started working at the casino I was trained by a lady name Chelsea. Before, we actually trained on the floor we had a training class. In this class, it broke down all the responsibilities that we had to learn in the cage. They showed us how to count chips, the way were supposed to count the money to the guest, and how to look up the customers if they are cashing a check or getting a cash advance off of their credit or debit cards.

During my last week of training the casino was very busy because of a big poker tournament this week. There are some guest who are regulars came to the cage and she told me not to worry about looking them up because they were regulars and it was extremely busy. Since I was new I thought it was ok because it has been done before and not just by hurt. There was this one guest name Scott who gets banned from the casino a lot because he get into with a lot of the workers and guest. He usually only get banned just a couple days so he can cool down and comes back to the boat with a positive attitude. His picture was posted in each cage so we can know exactly who he is if he does a transaction that is not required for us to look him up.

On my last day of training Scott came to my window and he wanted to get money off of his credit card. His picture was taken down out of the cage or my trainer told me to go ahead with his transaction so we could get the line down. I was uncomfortable doing the transaction without looking his up because he gets banned a lot and I didn’t want to get in trouble if something popped up on his account. She insisted that everything was ok and to go ahead I told her no let’s call the supervisor. At the time the supervisor was busy and it was going to take a while for her to come upstairs so I went ahead and listen to my trainer. Come to find out he was banned until 2016 and was not welcome to this casino until then. My supervisor was furious with us both even more with Chelsea than me...
